What happens next
-
01
Survey and fixed quote
A walkthrough in person or over video call, so we see the volume and the access. You get one written price covering everything discussed.
-
02
Permits and planning
We prepare the trade licence and insurance paperwork your building management asks for, and confirm the service lift booking and time slot.
-
03
Packing and protection
Room by room, labelled by destination room. Fragile items are wrapped individually; furniture gets covers and corner protection before it moves.
-
04
Loading and transport
Dismantling where needed, then loading in a planned order so nothing is carrying weight it should not. Everything travels secured, not stacked loose.
-
05
Unloading and placement
Boxes go to the room named on the label, not the hallway. Furniture is reassembled and placed where you want it before the crew leaves.
-
06
Walkthrough and sign-off
We check both properties with you, take away the packing debris, and only close the job when you are satisfied nothing is missing or damaged.
Questions people ask before booking
Across Dubai in 2026, a studio move typically runs AED 800–1,200, a one-bedroom apartment AED 1,500–2,500, a three-bedroom villa AED 3,000–5,000, and a five-bedroom villa AED 6,000–10,000 or more. Full packing usually adds 30–50% on top. Those are market ranges, not our quote — the real number depends on volume, packing, lift access and the day of the month. Send us your rooms and we will give you one fixed written price.
Usually because they are quoting different jobs. A low number often excludes packing materials, furniture dismantling, or the second man needed for a walk-up. It may also assume a weekday outside month-end. Ask every company for a written scope, not just a price, and compare what is actually included. If a quote is given without anyone seeing your rooms or a video of them, treat it as a starting figure rather than a price.
For almost every apartment in Dubai, yes. Building or community management issues a move-in or move-out permit, and security can refuse to let a moving crew in without one — even if you own the unit outright. You normally need your tenancy contract or title deed, your Emirates ID, and the moving company's trade licence and insurance certificate. Apply five to seven days ahead; Downtown and Marina towers are the strictest. We prepare the company-side paperwork for you.
One to two weeks is comfortable for most moves. The last three days of the month and the first two of the next are the busiest in Dubai because tenancy contracts turn over then, so book two to three weeks ahead if your date falls in that window. Short-notice and same-day moves are often possible outside those peaks — call and ask rather than assuming.
Yes, either side of prayer time. Most Dubai buildings will not permit moving between roughly 11:30 and 14:30 on a Friday, so we schedule Friday moves to start early and pause, or to begin mid-afternoon. If your building has its own restriction we will work to that instead.
Yes. Boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, tape, stretch film and mattress and sofa covers come with any move that includes packing. If you would rather pack yourself, we can drop materials to you beforehand so you are not doing it the night before.
Yes — beds, wardrobes, dining tables, desks and most flat-pack units. Tell us in advance about anything wall-mounted, built-in, or bought as a fitted item, because those need a different approach and sometimes a different trade. Curtain rails, TV brackets and fitted wardrobes are the three that most often get missed at survey stage.
The usual extras are: long carries where the truck cannot park near the entrance, moves where the service lift is unavailable and everything goes by stairs, storage between collection and delivery, specialist items such as pianos, safes, aquariums and large artwork, and handyman work like mounting a TV in the new place. We list any of these on your quote up front rather than adding them on the day.
Ask us for the current certificate and we will send it before you book. Coverage terms differ between basic liability and full replacement value, and the difference matters — so rather than print a claim on a web page, we would rather show you the document and explain exactly what it covers for your move.
All of Dubai — from Deira and Bur Dubai through Downtown, Business Bay, the Marina, JLT and JBR, out to Palm Jumeirah, Al Barsha, JVC, Dubai Hills and Jebel Ali. We publish a page for each of the communities we work in most, covering the building access and permit rules that apply there.
Yes, for the gap most people hit when a handover date slips. Tell us roughly how long you need and what is going in, and we will price the storage separately from the move so you can see both figures.
Volume first — how much there is to move — then access at both ends, how much packing you want, and the date. Access is the part people underestimate: a third-floor walk-up, a building with one small service lift, or a truck that has to park two hundred metres away all add hours. That is why we survey rather than guess, and why the price we give you does not change on the day.
